Independent Psychological Evaluations (IPEs)
We are trained and experienced in performing Independent Psychological Evaluations (IPEs) specifically for Veterans’ mental health disability claims. These comprehensive evaluations are designed to thoroughly address the questions essential to your disability case.
Our evaluations are comprehensive and individualized, designed to address each Veteran’s specific needs. We take the time needed to perform a thorough evaluation that is tailored for you and your unique circumstances and experiences. A diagnostic interview is an important part of the evaluation process, and psychological testing may also be a component.
We are not affiliated with the VA and offer independent, objective evaluations. Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate findings possible. We cannot guarantee a specific outcome to your evaluation; final benefits rating decisions are made by the VA.
Only you receive the final evaluation report (and any associated forms). Therefore, you choose whether or not it is submitted with your claim.

Nexus Letters & Medical Opinions
Nexus Letters and Medical Opinions are provided by our experienced psychologists when you need them.
We offer expert opinions on whether your mental health condition was caused by, aggravated by, or is otherwise related to events that occurred during your service or to another service-connected condition.
Our medical opinions are tailored to address questions pertaining to:
Direct Service Connection
Aggravation
Secondary Service Connection
DBQs
Disability Benefits Questionnaires, also called DBQs, are forms provided by the Veterans Benefits Administration that serve to gather needed information to submit a claim.
We complete DBQs as part of our Independent Psychological Evaluations for Veterans Disability. If a DBQ is not available for public use, we provide the necessary information in the body of the independent evaluation report.
The following DBQs are available for public use: Mental Disorders, PTSD Review, and Eating Disorders DBQs.
